Name Trudi HaydenAbout The Gardener's Arms in Alderton, Gloucestershire is showing a selection of my work. Come along to a great local pub, sink a drink or two and look at my paintings. All available for sale, I might even be able to pop down and chat about them. I am a member of the artdepot, a not-for-profit artist's group in Tewkesbury. Our aim is to open an arts centre in the town, to include affordable artist studios and community workshops. We are working on a website, watch this space for updates. You can contact the artdepot at theartdepot@hotmail.co.uk I am looking forward to showing my work at Cheltenham Open Air Exhibition again this year. It runs in the Imperial Gardens in Cheltenham 20th June - 18th July 2009. Check out their website: http://www.cheltenham-art.com/ I have lived in Gloucestershire for nearly all of my life and have always felt a close connection to our woodlands and rolling hills and vales. Walking with my dog around our beautiful scenery has inspired this love of the countryside to emerge in my paintings. I have attempted to recreate some of the local scenes that often stop me in my tracks, to share the moment with others. I have exhibited all around Gloucestershire, and have run children’s mural workshops at local festivals and events. |
